Hi, I’m Qing Hao,

But you can call me QH.

I’m a Singapore-based creative bridging the gap between visual storytelling, community building, and emerging technologies.

With a background that spans across curatorial management, commercial media, and experiential reality (XR/VR), I specialize in building safe, engaging communities for creative expression.

As a trained VR/XR Facilitator, I have led immersive technology experiences for institutions like the National Gallery Singapore, OH Open House, and the Singapore Institute of Technology.

As a freelance concert and editorial photographer, I have spent years documenting the regional music and arts scene across Singapore and Malaysia, with official coverage for Esplanade Baybeats, F1 Singapore, AXEAN Music Festival, and more. My visual work has been internationally recognized and digitally exhibited in the Laurent Gallery (Melbourne) and Valid World Hall (Barcelona).

Beyond the lens, my passion lies in arts leadership and curation, and working with youths. As the former Director of simpleArte gallery and Creative Director for iCare.4U pte ltd, I curated multimedia exhibitions for young audiences and spearheaded charity collaborations with social enterprises. I am also a guest lecturer on photography at Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

My Approach

My practice is rooted in creating spaces for genuine expression.

Whether I am shooting in the mosh pits of international music festivals, facilitating live virtual reality performances, or curating multidisciplinary exhibitions, my goal is always to connect audiences with impactful art.

Dynamics in everything

Art doesn’t happen in a vacuum.

It thrives on movement, energy, and human connection. From capturing split-second emotion in festival photo pits to facilitating live XR performances and curating youth-driven spaces, I gravitate toward fast-paced environments where audiences don't just observe art, they feel it.

Interdisciplinary Flexibility

Modern arts management demands wearing multiple hats.

Having worked as a gallery director at simpleArte, a creative director, a commercial media producer, and a VR/XR technical lead, I move fluidly between creative vision and technical execution, adapting to whatever medium best serves the story.
